PDF is the main format
PDF is the main format. Specification books, drawing sets and addenda are usually PDFs. planned
Zip archives that hold PDFs are designed to be accepted too. A zip of many one-page files is put back in order. planned
Other formats are to be confirmed. This page does not name any, because none are decided.
A PDF that is a scan has pictures of pages and no text layer. It can be added, but a search cannot read those pages. They are listed as not searched.
OCR for ordinary scanned pages is planned and is not available yet. Large scanned drawings are never run through OCR. For archives, read Zips and exploded downloads.
