Privacy

What we collect

• Your account email, to sign you in and to write to you about your account.
• The files you upload: specifications, drawings and addenda. We also keep what is extracted from them, such as text, the section list, the sheet list and the search index.
• Usage records: which parts of the service were used and when, and error records, so we can run and fix the service. [to be confirmed] Exact list.
• Billing details. The payment provider handles card details. We don't keep your card number. [to be confirmed] What billing records we keep, such as invoices.

In local mode, the file is not uploaded, so none of the file items above are collected for it. not live yet

If the same file is uploaded by more than one customer, text extracted from that file may be reused. Your own notes, selections and searches are never reused for anyone else. [to be confirmed] Final wording.

Outside providers

These companies help us run Scopereader. Each does one job. Your data may pass through them for that job.

• Vercel hosts the web app.
• Supabase holds the database, sign-in and stored files.
• Inngest runs the background jobs that process your files after upload.
• Stripe takes payments and handles card details.
• An OCR provider, to be chosen, would read the text of ordinary scanned pages. planned
• Anthropic provides an AI model that we call for a small number of tasks where fixed rules do not work. [to be confirmed] Which tasks send which content.

No selling of data

We don't sell your data. We don't sell your documents or your email.

Global Privacy Control

We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale or sharing of your data.

No AI training on your documents

We don't use your documents to train AI.

Deletion on request

This website

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other sites. The example search on the home page runs in your browser and sends nothing.
