A navigation aid, not the source documents

Scopereader helps you find pages in a bid set. It builds an index and it searches. It is a navigation aid.

It is not a substitute for the specifications, drawings and addenda themselves. The source documents are the documents.

You verify against the source documents

Before you rely on anything you found, open the page in the source document and read it there. This applies to every result, section label, sheet title and count.

An index can be incomplete. A scanned page may have no searchable text. The coverage line on a result says what was and was not searched. Reading it is your job.

You are responsible for your bids and for the decisions you make from your documents. [for lawyer] Wording on reliance and responsibility to be set by counsel.

Your files and the licence you give us

You keep ownership of your files and of everything in them.

When you upload a file, you give us a limited licence to process it. The licence is only for providing the service to you. That means storing the file, extracting its text, building the index, running search, and showing you the results.

We don't use your documents to train AI. The licence ends when you delete the file or your account, apart from the time needed to remove copies from our systems. [for lawyer] Removal timing and backup language to be set by counsel.

You say that you have the right to upload the files. See also the privacy page.

What not to upload to the hosted product

Do not upload CUI, TSA SSI or ITAR technical data to the hosted product. We don't accept them there.

Use local mode for those files. In local mode the file is not uploaded. not live yet

Pricing

Prices are on the pricing page. That page is the one place they are stated. In short: your first project is free, with no card.

Refunds

On request, we refund the unused part of a paid period. The amount is prorated.

Warranty and liability
