Same number, more than one issue

A download can hold the same drawing set more than once. Each copy is a different issue, such as an earlier and a later stage of the design. Their sheet numbers can be identical.

So a number alone does not identify a sheet. The app identifies a sheet by its version group plus its number. The same holds for specification section numbers.

The app groups the issues together. It uses the issue label printed on the set. If no label is found, it says "no issue label" and does not invent one.

The app lists the issues together, each with its label. Any order it shows them in comes from the printed labels and is not a statement of which issue governs. Nothing is dropped without telling you.

Search results carry the issue label, so you can see which issue a hit came from.

Example project (fictional): Sheet A-501 appears in "Drawings, Issue 1 (example)" and in "Drawings, Issue 2 (example)". The Index Report lists it as a sheet number found in more than one issue. You open each issue and compare the pages yourself.

The app does not say which issue governs. That is stated in the documents, not decided by the app.
